In 2010 Anneke de Rooij graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) with Honours, at Curtin University. Anneke has participated in group shows including 2009 “Young Guns” exhibition, part of the Australian Ceramics Triennale in Sydney, and most recently in the Foodchain Light Locker Artspace in Perth. Just finishing a ten-month residency at the Fremantle Arts Centre, Anneke is currently focused on the nature of working in ceramics, with thoughts extending to tedium, wastefulness, humanity and loss.
