Bettina Hill sees the extraordinary in everyday experiences, objects and materials. Driven by discovery, her art works document the aesthetic qualities within utilitarian objects and natural phenomena, using printmaking, photography and sculptural techniques. Bettina Hill studied at the Australian National University School of Art, completing her Honours degree in Printmaking and Drawing in 2007. Since completing her undergraduate degree, her dedication to exhibiting has included group shows in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and the 2009 Fremantle Print Award. In support of her professional practice she was awarded a 2011 ArtStart Grant from the Australia Council for the Arts, as well as a 2011 Artist Residency with Canberra Contemporary Art Space.
