Jackson Eaton is a visual artist in Perth, Western Australia. Working with photography, installation and performance, his practice is largely self-relexive, employing elements of personal narrative to explore wider notions of identity and the self. Intimacy, social dislocation, masculinity, and loss are central themes in Eaton’s work. He has held four solo exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions both nationally and abroad. His images have been published widely and are housed in private collections around the world. Eaton was awarded an Australia Council for the Arts grant in 2011 under the JUMP mentorship program.
