Elson graduated from Chelsea School of Art and Design, London with a MA, Fine Art in 2003. In 2002 she was awarded a Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship. Elson has worked as a tutor at Curtin University, Fremantle Arts Centre and at Central TAFE. Her work has been exhibited internationally. These exhibitions include – Necromancy, Galerie Dusseldorf, 2001, [not] from here, House Space, London 2002. Into the Blue, Monash Museum of Art, Melbourne, 2002. Parallel Worlds, IASKA (International Arts Space, Kellerberin) 2002, Accomodation, Edinburgh, Scotland 2003, Anigozanthos (eudamonia hybrid), Galerie Dusseldorf 2007, phloem poetica, PICA 2010, rapier lehmanni, Galerie Dusseldorf 2011. Her work is currently exhibiting in Forces of Nature at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC.
