Sarah Rowbottam (b. 1984) is an independent curator, producer and artist. She graduated from Curtin University with a BA (Art) and BA (Communication and Cultural Studies) in 2006. In 2010 Sarah curated Rounds at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts and co-published an accompanying 200-page book featuring 17 WA artists and writers. The same year she was awarded a JUMP National Mentorship with PICA Curator Leigh Robb. In January 2012 Sarah is co-curating and producing Proximity, Australia’s first one-on-one micro-festival of art. She is currently creating a new live-art work for Proximity called Slowfood Sunday.
