Sebastian Befumo is a 2011 Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (Visual Art) graduate from Edith Cowan University. His creative practice has focused on drawing, painting and sculpture, but has also involved film and photography. Throughout his studies he has exhibited publicly and been awarded residencies in the wider community. Currently, he is in the process of developing a new exhibition in Perth, which will run during June 2012. In his artworks he re-uses different objects and materials, hoping to create a dialogue between space, object/material and the viewer. The work consequently involves a discussion about their identity within a constructed environment.
