Sheridan is a young Perth artist and writer, currently working on a project about the magical properties of mountains. Drawing from history and fable alike, she yearns for a mythical peak upon which the nature of the world was determined. She obsesses about this ultimate mountain because she lives in a place that is flat. Instead she collects materials and rumours and allows her expectations to outgrow the mountains themselves. She believes imagined landscapes to be more densely populated by the cultural mind than real ones. Sheridan holds a Master’s in Art and has participated in several group shows and performance events around Perth.
