SPATULA is a Perth based collective of four visual artists who together create work that is humorously earnest and scientifically confused. Using bicycles, gardens, culinary tactics and mapping the quartet create alternative interactions with urban environments and theatrical investigations into sustainability. The collective has recently had their first solo exhibition at Free Range Gallery in 2011 and will be performing their first major work ‘The Mega Deluxe Wheel Deal’ in FRINGE WORLD Festival, Perth 2012.
