Technology, the environment, humanity: these three themes relate to the core of Stephen’s practice. With a background in engineering, Stephen was taught how to solve problems but never to ask why. His work seeks to ask some of these questions while at the same time merging, melding and reusing concepts and materials that are often overlooked in our day to day lives. Stephen is an emerging artist who has recently exhibited in Sculpture by the Sea, New Faces and Hatched, to name a few.
